From time to time the data in my reports on the web will be skewed. I have two paths that I use to get get my data into reports on the web, and it occurs in both scenarios (note: I always build my reports in Desktop and then publish to the web):
9 times out of 10 when I review my dashboards/reports on the web the data is accurate, but that 1 other ocassion my data will be very skewed. For example, one minute one of my salespersons will have 10 orders for the current week totaling $1,000, and then when I check an hour or so later that same individual will have 94 orders totaling $8,700.
I am curious if the model is ignoring all or some of my filters for some reason when the data refresh occurs. On a few occasions I have cross-referenced the numbers and they almost matched up perfectly. Typically the next refresh occurrence (whether automatic or manual) will get my data back to normal.
Has anyone else run into this, or know why this occurs?
Hi @J_Greenwalt,
For your issue, it's really weird. Please create a support ticket on the right bottom of this page to check your own data background for details. We have no power to check your data.
Best Regards,
Angelia
