Hi
Does anyone know how i can show not only the value but also the series name on a data label within a line chart? I only want the series name to show on the last data point. This is to identify the lines without needing a legend. Its odd that there are so many wasy to customise data labels in Excel, yet PowerBi is so limited. In Excel this is controlled under Format data labels>Label options.
Thanks
David
Hi @DavidPhillips ,
It is not supported to add text to data label. You could create a tooltip to show the series name. And I found a similar idea. To make Power BI better, you can submit your request at Power BI Ideas and vote it up.
Best Regards,
Xue
