Data Filter for Monday Joining Employees

Hi All,

 

Need help me how to filter monday employee joining records, every day data loads into employees table who join on every day but i want data who joined on every monday.

  • Hi @bharathpaturu33 

    you can create a column by using the function WEEKDAY(<date>, <return_type>) to get the number identifying the day of the week of a date. FYI: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/weekday-function-dax

    weekday = WEEKDAY('Table'[Date],2)//return 1-7, monday=1

    then, create a measure filterMeasure, and drag the measure into the filters on this visual 

    filterMeasure = IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[weekday])=1,1,0)//return 1 when weekday=1,else return 0

     then the visual will only show data of monday.

    calculate(count(employee[employee id]), filter(employee, weekday(employee[join date],2) =1))
