Dashboard refresh error

Hi all,

 

I am facing an issue in refreshing the dashboard. Data source is excel earlier everthing was running smoothly but in between I got a data type mismatched error for one of my file it was not converting date column to date instead it was converting it to text I have fixed the issue using locale but now post that I try to refresh my data it is not showing accurate data it is showing a huge mismatch. Now I refresh the data it is showing inaccurate data can you please help ??

 

Any help would be appreciated !

    Anonymous , Please open the power query and fix the datatype. It might be text first and then converted date. Make it date in the very first step (Change Data type)

    HI Anonymous,

    In fact, modifying the data source records can not fix the existed wrong values which are loaded and cached to the data model.

    I'd like to suggest you open your pbix file to manually fix this issue in the query editor and publish to power bi service to replace the old report.
