Dashboard date not reverting from IST to PST

I recently published a report in PST but when some one opened the shared dashboard the date went back to IST and accordingly the data per week also changed but now when I am opening the dashboard in PST again I can't see the data changing back to PST.

Need quick help

Thanks

@Arun1,

You may refer to the expression below.

DateTime.LocalNow() - #duration(0,8,0,0)

@Arun1,

Power BI service shows the current date and time in UTC.

Will this automatically cover necessary adjustments for daylight savings etc.? - Not sure if it would as time difference can be 7 hours for a few weeks a year for example or is that where the UTC offset comes in?

In my case I have times in PST that are getting automatically converted to UTC: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/DateTimes-are-being-automatically-converted-to-UTC-timezone-...

But in my case I need it to stay in pst at all times is there any way to do that?

@Arun1,

Add the UTC offset to your formula.

Measure =
NOW ()
    - 8 / 24
