Dashboard Card Visualization

Hi Guys,

I would like to ask about Visualization - Card template and its features. I have 2 questions regards that.

1. I am currently using Card visualization to represent the total amount in my Dashboard report. In Formatting/Data Label I have set for "Display Units" as Auto and "Value Decimal Places" as 0 to get an Integer (full number as seen in the picture as 494M which would indicate 494000000). For having such a setting I would like to configure my tooltip for representing full numbers with Non-Display Units, which would mean, I would like to view Total Amount in a format as now (494M) and in a tooltip, I would like to see the full number (494000000). In the tooltip configurations, I am not able to select such an option, anyone could help me with that? (see Picture 1.)

2. Currently I am using the measure in my report for Total Amount which is Gross_Amount taken from Database and multiplying with Exchange Rate In Euros. Can I use Card visualization or some other in order to have a drop-down window where I could store values in multiple Currency (Let's say a client press on the drop-down and he is able to select Total Amount view everywhere in EUR, USD, and GBP) Picture 2? Any suggestion is highly appreciated!

Cheers,

Matas

Hi, @Matas

The default method can't be modified, but you can customize the tooltip.

If type is set to 'tooltip', it seems a bit big to put number card, you can change it to custom, the effect is better.

You need to create a exchange rate table as slicer, then create a measure to display the result according to the selection of the slicer.

" my Dashboard report " - it's either or - pick one.

I would address both of your points with custom tooltips. Have you considered that?
