Good day... Fairly new to PBI so please bare with me.... I have a client who looks at their business from a daily perspective from a this week versus last week view. I've been fighting with this for a couple of weeks now, and frustration has set in.
Here is a sample of the output they are looking for. I've got a date table, and a dateperiod table with Weeknumber, and a bunch of other period columns:

I guess the core problem is that the data is stored transaction by transaction (see below). So, my questions are:
1. Should I create a table that dynamically summarizes the data to daily entries when updating?
2. How to get the daily summaries into a daily this week / last week like the format above?
