Hi All ,
I have the below DAX calculation in import mode .
Column =
IF (ISBLANK('Table1'[Code]), BLANK(),
VAR cyear = LEFT ( Table1[Code], 4 )
VAR cweek = RIGHT ( Table1[Code], 2 )
VAR cdate = DATE ( cyear, 1, -2 ) - WEEKDAY ( DATE ( cyear, 1, 3 ) )
+ cweek * 7
RETURN
DATEDIFF ( TODAY (), cdate, WEEK ))
However when I change the connection to direct query mode , it is not working for DATE , DATEDIFF, WEEK functions .
Can you please help translate this query for direct query mode ?
Thank you.

Hi @ramkula123 ,
Actually, power bi will limit you to use dax calculation functions in calculated column if you are working on 'direct query' mode.(measures has less limitations to use dax functions)
You can consider to convert one table to import mode to use these limited functions based on composite mode.
Use composite models in Power BI Desktop
