Hi @barwe -if you are using the DAX formula editor inside Power BI Desktop, such markers are not normally shown. in default Editor in Power BI Desktop doesn’t normally display these dots. If you’re seeing them, it could be due to an internal or temporary editor bug. Restarting Power BI might resolve the issue.

If you're using a third-party editor for writing DAX, such as DAX Studio or Tabular Editor, check their settings for displaying hidden characters.

may be if you are using DAX Studio, go to the options pane and search for any options related to "Show End of Line"  that you can disable.

Let me know which environment you're using, will check accordingly.

Hi @barwe

Did rajendraongole1's reply help you with your problem? If it helped, please consider accepting his reply as a solution.

Power BI Desktop does not have a direct option to disable visible whitespace characters in the formula bar; by default they are not displayed.

As rajendraongole1 mentioned, if you are using an external code editor, make sure to disable the display of whitespace setting in the external editor before copying and pasting into Power BI Desktop.

If the problem persists, try updating Power BI Desktop to the latest version to see if that resolves it.

Jarvis Tang
