Dear Experts
BasicMat = LOOKUPVALUE('Material Master'[basic_material],'Material Master'[mat_id], 'New_Mat'[Model_Number]," ")
I have a Material Master Table and New_Mat Table. I need to lookup and retrive the Basic_Material from Material Master table. If no match is available then instead of blank the BasicMat field should keep the value of New_Mat.
Can anyone please help me to complete the above code.
Thanks
Mahad

Hi,
Please check the below picture and the attached pbix file.
I tried to create a sample pbix file like below.
It is for creating a new column.
One thing to note is that 'Material Master'[basic_material] and New_Mat[Model_Number] both column's data type has to be the same.
BasicMat CC =
LOOKUPVALUE (
'Material Master'[basic_material],
'Material Master'[mat_id], New_Mat[Model_Number],
New_Mat[Model_Number]
)
