Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out how I can create a multi row card or a slicer in PBI that shows me the results of searching for a word in 1 collumn and a few other words in another collumn. For instance:
The word 'AirProx' in one collumn and then 'Near Miss', 'Bubble', 'Close' from another collumn. This will then only show me results from these both words.
I have been looking into the DAX 'FIND' and 'SEARCH' commands but having a hard time getting my head around them,
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi @tomroge103
If you use "FIND" or "SEARCH", the function only shows the number that shows the starting point of the text string you want to find.
But you want the word value 'AirProx' in one collumn and then 'Near Miss', 'Bubble', 'Close' in another column to show on a card visual, I'm afraid it can't be achieved by these function.
To get the results, you should provide the condition, then calculate based on another column or measure by this condition.
If you have any question, please feel free to ask and provide more details like data and expected results.
Best Regards
Maggie
