I need a filtered measure that doesn't repeat across dimensions.
I want my measure "Self Funded Amount" to only show on the row "Self Funded".
\
The current measure is
Self Funded Amount:= CALCULATE ( DIVIDE ( [Earned Income] , [Medical Member Months] ), 'Experience Category'[New Group Funding Type] = "Self Funded" )
Solved! Go to Solution.
Try this:
Self Funded Amount:=
CALCULATE (
DIVIDE ( [Earned Income] , [Medical Member Months] ),
FILTER('Experience Category'[New Group Funding Type] = "Self Funded")
)
This worked for me. Let me know if that's not the case for you.
Did you try adding a visual filter New group Funding Type = "Self Funded"?
Did you try adding a visual filter New group Funding Type = "Self Funded"?
I don't want a filter on the whole visual. This is just an example -- other group IDs will not be "Self Funded". I will also have a measure for "Fully Insured Amount"
Try this:
Self Funded Amount:=
CALCULATE (
DIVIDE ( [Earned Income] , [Medical Member Months] ),
FILTER('Experience Category'[New Group Funding Type] = "Self Funded")
)
This worked for me. Let me know if that's not the case for you.
That's it! I knew it had to be something easy! I thought the logic of FILTER was included already in the CALCULATE function. Can you explain how yours works differently than mine? Thanks!
