Hi all,
I need to distribute values from one column into multiple columns with DAX. I have "Order Value" in the Input table for a date range between the "Order Start date" and "Order End Date".
In my DAX Query I want to distribute the "Order Value" in the month of the date range and the show the monthly sum of the broken down "Order Values".

Does somebody have an idea how to tackle this in DAX?
Thx!

Lots of assumptions here. You want to amortize by month yet your ranges are by date.
Let's also assume you have a Calendar table.
Let's assume you don't need the total value.
Hi,
You may refer to the attached file for my solution to a similar problem. Please review it and apply it to your dataset.
Hope this helps.
