Hi all
I have the followin problem: "The size of one table is anormally huge"
Context:
The problem is that one field (ID_KEY) its size is 400 Mb, just only one field and another field another 300 MB.
It is so weird because the field that size is 400 MB is "numero_expediente" (alpha numeric key) and for example there is other field "dsc_entidad" that its a free text field and his size is just only 20 MB.
I need to reduce the data set so... any idea?
Hi @Anonymous
When importing data into Power BI, it would compress data using VertiPaq Engine.
Do you use the VertiPaq Analyzer to check the dataset size?

If so, please go to Edit queries, "Transform->Format->clean/trim" for this column.
Sounds really good but I can´t isntall any additional program in my PC.
I would try to do it in other ways
