Customizing colors doesn't work
Try this sample PBIX file. If it works in here, then I don't know what you've done in your file! If it still doesn't work in this sample PBIX file then it might be able issue with your Power BI Desktop version.
That is definitely very strange. I'm using the June 2024 version and it's working fine for me. Obviously the format menu looks a bit different for me and you given the different versions, but fundamentally the functionalities are the same.

Try this sample PBIX file. If it works in here, then I don't know what you've done in your file! If it still doesn't work in this sample PBIX file then it might be able issue with your Power BI Desktop version.
Hello cath, I have found the reason as to why the color does not change. It was because of the field that I added on the Legend section. 😂 But thank you really for helping me with this. I was able to learn because of this.
Next time you have a similar problem and need to get assistance, maybe try to see if you can include in the screenshot the Build pane as well 🙂 Another Power BI power user would have been able to spot the issue straightaway in that case 😄
