Customized usage metrics show ytd

Hi,

 

How to customized view the usage metrics from Power BI ? 

If you refer to this link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-usage-metrics I am can only view last 30 days. 

 

My expectation is I want to see YTD of usage metrics report

 

Please help

Hi @chrisyan_manalu 

1.After testing, you can add a date slicer into the report, then put the date of the date column to the slicer, but the date is depend on the value of the date table. so it may be cannot display the YTD values, but it can display values over the current month.

You can save the usage report as a copy to the current workspace, then edit the copied report to add the slicer.

2.You can connect the dataset from power bi Desktop, then change the live connection mode to direct mode, then create a date table. e.g 

Table = CALENDAR(DATE(2023,1,1),TODAY())
Then create relationship between the table and other tables. then create measure by the function 
DATESYTD().
