Custom visual not loading into desktop report

Hello,

I am just starting to create my first Power BI custom visual, and created a new folder for the custom visual in the node.js command line. There is default code in the folder, but it doesn't seem to load into Power BI desktop. I get an error reading "Your version of Power BI Dekstop does not support this custom visual...."

Does the default code need to be changed in a way for the visual to show with no error?

Hi @bruppert ,

From your error information, it seemed that you need to update your pbi version, you can go to the download page from this link.
