Custom Visualisation for multiple legends and values

I realise that the default Area Chart in Power BI does not let you add more than one Legend and Values at the same time, but was wondering whether anyone may have made a custom visualisation to overcome this.

Looking for a suggested custom visualisation that plots more than one legend and more than one value metric at the same time, as an area chart.

I browsed through the list of custom visualisations and personally was not able to find one.

Hi @dpc_development

1. In Edit queries, select columns "cr" and "relative cr" , select "Transform->Unpivot columns",Then i get the table as below

10.png2. Select two columns "Attribute" and "item":

click on "Attribute" first, keep "Ctrl" button pressed, then click on "item".

then select "merge columns"

11.pngCLOSE &&APPLY

3.

You could use Line chart or area chart

Go to "Format" pane,

you could change the position of the legend in the Legend property,

Change the color in in the Data color property

Hi @dpc_development

As searched, i can't find any visual as you said.

Could you share some example data and draw a simple picture to show your expected visual so that i may work out with a workaround?

Hi Maggie ( @v-juanli-msft ). I uploaded a sample here.

I guess one work around would be to  re-organise the data with the metric name and legend name concatenated.

However, was hoping there'd be an easier solution that sets the colour of the legend the same for both values/metrics.

Hi @dpc_development

Is this problem sloved?

If not, please let me know.

Best Regards

Maggie
