Hi! Having a hard time connecting my Databricks SQL Warehouse to my Power BI even though if I'm loading individual tables it can connect. However, if I'm using a custom sql query even if i'm only selecting one table, it shows that error with no other details.
What I did:
- Open Power BI
- Login to my microsoft account
- Clicked get data and selected "Databricks"
- Added the host name and https; Added category and database and the query
- Query written this way:
SELECT distinct doft.id
FROM hive_metastore.dw_cep.table_1 doft
WHERE doft.received_ts::date >= '2023-06-01';- After clicking connect, I immediately get this error. Please help.
Thank you!
Regards,
Kara

Already tried a simple select * from table and tried querying first in Databricks and it works so I'm not sure what's wrong in Power BI 😞
