Hello,
I have Power BI measure which calculates the cumulative total from a list of values by date sequence.
Cumulative Total =
CALCULATE(
SUM('Data'[values]) ,
'Calendar'[Date] <= MAX( 'Calendar'[Date])
)
This works well but as it is a measure and not a column I'm not able to access any statistics related to the cumulative total, for example if I want to know the maximum value the cumulative total reached across the time period I am not able to use the MAX function as it needs to be applied to data in a column.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can create a cumulative total in a column format?
Thanks,
Neil

Hi @Burtoninlondon - Create a calculated column as below:
Cumulative Total Column =
VAR CurrentDate = 'Data'[Date]
RETURN
CALCULATE(
SUM('Data'[Values]),
FILTER(
ALL('Data'),
'Data'[Date] <= CurrentDate
)
)
it works as cummulative totals as expectd.
