Hello Helpful People,
I am currently have a set of reports that I would like to use the cross report drill through feature for. I want to drill based on serial number. I have renamed the columns in each report to match, as well as the table names. I have the option checked in both reports for cross report drilling. I have the toggle switched to on for the target report. (I followed the guy in a cube video). It works, sort of.
What I am getting is the target report with no data in it. My target report right now is just a table with serial number and a few other related columns. My thinking is that by drilling through to this page, it should only show the entries for the serial number I drilled through with. I added a slicer and verified the serial number I used, it had multiple entries in the target report, when I am not drilling to it.
Any Ideas? I am not sure what I could be missing..
Thanks

Update: I figured it out. The two fields were not they same type. One was text and the other was alphanumeric. Lol... I feel dumb
