Cross Filtering / Cross Highlighting option not working for scatter plots

I'm trying to change my visual interactions from cross-highlighting to cross-filtering. I am able to do so with all visuals with the exception of the scatter plot.

With each of the other visuals I am able to go to Format -> Edit Interactions and select the appropriate icons to toggle between highlighting and filtering. However, when I click on Edit Interactions with the scatter plot visual selected, nothing happens. 

Is there a reason why this feature does not work for scatter plots? I'm trying to avoid greyed out bar charts when a user selects a point on the scatter plot.

@markmess77 Some of the visual doesn't have cross filter/highlight option and it is only cross filter and I guess scatter plot is one of those.

@parry2k  I was just playing around with it and somehow got it to work. For some reason, selecting a few different points on the scatter plot and hitting the Edit Interactions button a few times in the process made it work lol
