Hi All,
I am new to PowerBI and have a (rookie) question. I am trying to create a waterfall as per this tutorial.
The problem I am facing is that my excel data contains months as column header. So January 2017 till December 2017 and the values within a column contain a value of 0 till 1 instead of having a column header called "Month" and the dates within that column.
Anyone knows how I can make powerbi transform data in such a way that I can create a waterfall with the months on the X-as?

Hi @Seigfried,
You need to unpivot your columns to have an attribute column (date) and other with values.
Without further information can't help you more than this,

Can you please share a screenshot of the data? I believe what you are trying to do is transpose the months such that they become one column, and your KPIs (like sales) to become your measures.
correct.
