Creating popup window/ overlay without bookmarks or multiple hidden pages

Hi

I have been tasked with updating infotext popup windows. I know how to do it with bookmarks or hidden pages but have anyone come up with an easier and less adminastrive solution? Is there any other way to create a pop up window directly connected to a button for example.

The reason behind the question is that the workspace contains 10 or so reports with each report having like 5-10 pages all having an info buttons that opens a popup overlay. Its pretty time consuming updating/chaning/adding new bookmarks/pages each time the text changes or the design of the pop up is updated.
