Creating a Measure for Sum of a column by month

My data is formatted in the following way:

MonthYearPre/Post

Volume

Jan

2022

Pre

1000

Feb

2022

Post

2000

etc.

I want to build a measure to compare pre and post volumes but to standardize to number of months in each. There are different number of months in pre and post so to get a good comparison I need to divide by the number of months in each so they are comparing per month.

I am having some trouble on finding a good way to sum the number of months that we have in pre vs post for each. Any thoughts?
