Creating a Dataflow Based on Azure Analysis Services Failed with "Invalid Credential"

Hi team,

I am able to connect the Azure Analysis Services by Powerbi Desktop but when I create a dataflow connecting the same Azure Analysis Services with the same account, it showed me "Invalid Credential". I am using my organisation account to connect. As the server is in cloud so I believe the gateway is not required. And the server address and DB name are correct as I have built the report in Powerbi Desktop already. I just want to create a dataflow based on the same data source now.

Your suggestions would be much appreciated.

Jean

Thanks Amitchandak for the quick reply, I am connecting to a server name start with asazure://australiaeast........, the error message only show me "invalid credential", not server connection error. So I think that might be something wrong with the credential that I use. The authentication kind that I am currently using is the organizational account, is this the right one to use?

Any one in the community has a successful practice of connecting Power Query Online to Azure Analysis Services ?

@Anonymous , Azure analysis services should not need gateway, unless ips have been whitelisted

You can ask it for whitelisting
