Creating a Column, no FORMAT option available

Hi, so i have one report which uses Direct Query and the Format option is available in Query eg:

if i type and return:

MONTH_Created = FORMAT([CreatedDateTime], "MMMM") - Works fine!

However the new report which reads from the same Database and has date columns in there , formatted as date, there's no FORMAT option. Am i missing something?
ALSO just noticed there is no Table view option either on left hand side

I think I have found the reason :

Format function is not supported in Direct Query mode in Power BI. You need to convert your connection mode to import to use it. Or I suggest you to create two calcualted columns, one to show Days and another one to show times in time type formated as hh:mm:ss.
