Hi,
I have a table which has 2 columns:
(i) Amount
(ii) Fx rate
I want to create a new column 'New Amount' which is (Amount/Fx rate). However, the Fx rate column can be 'null' at times. When that happens, I want to retain the value mentioned in 'Amount' column in the 'New Amount' column. Please find an example below:
| Amount | Fx rate | New Amount |
| 100 | 1.2 | 83.3 |
| 200 | 1.3 | 153.8 |
| 150 | null | 150.0 |
Also, I want to do this operation in my original table and not use a measure.
Request for any help! Thanks!

Hi @SJHALANI
Do you want the column created in PQ or in DAX?
Power Query
= if [Fx rate] is null then [Amount] else [Amount]/[Fx rate]
DAX
Column = IF([Fx rate] > 0, DIVIDE([Amount],[Fx rate]), [Amount])

Phil
