Creating A Data-Driven Alert For A Table In Power BI

I'm trying to setup a Power Automate flow that creates an Excel sheet of a table within Power BI every time said table is refreshed. I'm getting this error:

I can't find any option to create an Alert ID for the table in Power BI. Am I missing something?

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

The easiest way, would be to create a new column called lastrefresh = today ()

Then you create a new card in power bi, you publish this report

In power bi services, you let your mousse on the card with the date and click on the small ring to create an alert

If you do not find, I will share some screenshots Tomorrow

Hi @BO7

The alertID is the name of your alert

So if you want to achieve this goal, first you need a field to monitor change in your dataset, for example last refresh of your report

Then, you create an alert for this visual in Power BI services

In power Automate, you should find your alert, if you are not able to find it, add a custom value

And normally it should work

If it doesn't do not hesitate to ask for more help 🙂

I don't know how to create an alert for the table in question.
