Good day.
Please help me calculate below in Power BI. I would like to calculate increase rate over time comparing the earliest month and the latest month, using the element Tested.
The calculation should in the end give me: Tested i.e (32 sum of Jan 2019 - 55 sum of July 2020) / 32 sum of Jan 2019 =72%. The data I have is as below:
Name | Element | Date | Value |
Jumbo | Tested | 1/1/2019 | 10 |
Jumbo | Diagnonised | 1/1/2019 | 4 |
Monkey | Tested | 1/7/2020 | 20 |
Monkey | Diagnonised | 1/12/2020 | 5 |
Donkey | Tested | 1/1/2019 | 8 |
Donkey | Diagnonised | 1/1/2019 | 2 |
Donkey | Tested | 1/7/2020 | 15 |
Donkey | Diagnonised | 1/12/2020 | 6 |
Jumbo | Tested | 1/1/2019 | 10 |
Jumbo | Diagnonised | 1/1/2019 | 6 |
Monkey | Tested | 1/7/2020 | 20 |
Monkey | Diagnonised | 1/12/2020 | 5 |
Donkey | Tested | 1/1/2020 | 4 |

@Anonymous add the following measures, you can always put all this in one measure but I created all these as separated measures:
Sum Value = SUM ( Diff[ Value] )
Sum First Date =
VAR __firstDate = CALCULATE ( MIN ( Diff[ Date] ), ALLSELECTED ( Diff ) )
RETURN
CALCULATE ( [Sum Value], Diff[ Date] = __firstDate )
Sum Last Date =
VAR __lastDate = CALCULATE ( MAX ( Diff[ Date] ), ALLSELECTED ( Diff ) )
RETURN
CALCULATE ( [Sum Value], Diff[ Date] = __lastDate )
% Diff = DIVIDE ( [Sum First Date] - [Sum Last Date], [Sum First Date] )
