Create colour palette
Have you tried using a custom color wheel from one of the many free internet sites? If you use a site like http://html-color-codes.info/ . You can find the colors you want, identify the color code and copy it into Power BI. It may take some time to build your own template, but you can put this in a file and save it for reuse.
When you select a color in Power BI, just select custom color and paste the color number into Power BI.
Hi erikajclemens,
thank you for your reply!
I already used this opportunity, but it's not a satisfying solution for me, because I have some pie charts with values between 1 and 6000. PowerBI wants me to assign each value one of my colours and that would take too much time. It would be nice to have a solution, where you can upload a colour palette and all charts use exclusively these colours.
Thanks,
Nadine

I understand your challenge now. :) One option you might consider is using a different chart type. Pie charts with a lot of slices are sometimes difficult for users to gain insights. You could use a bar chart and the option to show the percentage of grand total on the tool tip. I know that doesn't take care of your color palette issue, just noting that when I have challenges with a dashboard I will troubleshoot by evaluating the way the data has been organized within the data model first and then by looking at my visualization options.
