Create colour palette
Hi there,
is it already possible to create a colour palette, e.g. from which the pie chart can take their colours? I would like to use exclusively our brand colours.

Hi Nadine,
How you can do it now is to set the colors manually, in the Data Colors section of the Format pane.
Defining a pallette is not yet possible. But the Power BI team says it is planned...
Vote for it to give it more priority!
But even then you will have to indicate which color to use for which part of your pie.

This should now be possible using the 'Customize Current Theme' option.
To do so, go to the ribbon and select 'View', then select the themes dropdown and select 'Customize Current Theme'. You'll then be able to choose the 8 default colors that make up your themes palette. These are the colors that visuals will automatically load into your pie chart for example, in order from color 1-8.

Qiuyun YuHave you tried using a custom color wheel from one of the many free internet sites? If you use a site like http://html-color-codes.info/ . You can find the colors you want, identify the color code and copy it into Power BI. It may take some time to build your own template, but you can put this in a file and save it for reuse.
When you select a color in Power BI, just select custom color and paste the color number into Power BI.

I already used this opportunity, but it's not a satisfying solution for me, because I have some pie charts with values between 1 and 6000. PowerBI wants me to assign each value one of my colours and that would take too much time. It would be nice to have a solution, where you can upload a colour palette and all charts use exclusively these colours.
