Company A have a manufacturing order table. The table have 3 columns: Product, Manufacturing date and Quantity. Manufacturing dates include both dates in the past and future ones.
Every Friday the company wants to compare the outcome for the week with what they had planned one week before.
Example: On Friday 2nd of Feb we want to take a snapshot of the table and on the Friday the 9th of Feb we want to compare the outcome from 3-9 of Feb with what the plan for 3-9 Feb on the 2nd of Feb. I want to save a snapshot automatically every Friday.
How can this be achieved? I know I posted this in the Desktop sub forum but I understand that other tools might be more suitable.
Hi @Ingo_BI ,
You can create a Power Automate (process) that triggers every Friday.
Specific process steps:
1.Connect data sources in desektop and create visual reports.
2.Then publish the Power BI report to the Power BI service.
3.Configure periodic refresh with the help of gateway to refresh the data at a specific frequency.
4.Email the successfully refreshed report to the concerned person.
