Create a slicer on date

 Have a visualisation looking like this, but when I add a slicer, 

it  turns into this. I want a checkbox of the dates shown in the 1st pic. How do i go about that?

Inside the Slicer you have a small wedge kind of Drop down select that and convert into  List
