Hello power bi community. I would like to create a column where values are accumulated, and this accumulated change when filtering by a variable.
In the attached image, the column ACUM OIL REAL is a dax measurement, I would like to create it as a column and have it change when I filter the variable WELLBORE. In the images you can see that when I select AKA04i in the WELLBORE column the accumulated is different than when I select AKA30i.
I would like to create that as a column because I want to use in another calculate in another column and as a measure it doesn't allow me to add it in the visual.
Thank you very much in advance for your help. I hope I have made myself clear.
@CarlosOlmos29 , The running total or cumulative seems fine to me as measure
If you need a column, that will not dynamic and will not respond to filters
A new column
Sumx(filter(Table, [Wellbore] = earlier([Wellbore]) && [Volume_date] <= earlier( [Volume_date]) ), [Oil Real BLS])
