I have a situation I have not found an answer to. I have found some close ones but this is project data coming from Smartsheets that I need to be able to classify and report on in a varity of graphs, charts, tables and the like. The project was not setup particularly well but it is what i have to work with.
I have standard project type columns with name, start, finish % complete, status etc. The first 2 columns are the keys (I think) as I need to group the milestones and tasks under each sub workstream/process so I can report on the status of each sub workstream - almost like mini projects so think of project type reporting where everything is in one giant project.
So is it possible to use the table below to be able to report on status, %complete etc by sub process - hence the grouping need.
Any help would be helpful as I am lost.
| Ref # | Classification | Description | Start | Finish | % complete | Status |
| 9.1 | Sub-Process | For a sub process this is the subprocess name | Summary date (like any project tool) | Finish date | Started, red, yellow, green | |
| 9.1.1 | Milestone | |||||
| 9.1.1.1 | Task | |||||
| 9.1.1.2 | Task | |||||
| 9.1.1.2.1 | Subtask | |||||
| 9.1.2 | Milestone | |||||
| 9.1.2.1 | Task | |||||
| 9.2 | Sub-process | |||||
| 9.2.1 | Mileston |
Some of the visuals I need to have are like the following hence the need for grouping. Of course there are others. the blacked out names are the sub-worksteram names. (This is from a differnet report)
