Hi all,
Apologies if this is a duplicate of another raised post, if it is please can you send me in the right direction.
I wan't to create a PBI report thats hitting a view directly in BQ, the view itself in BQ is looking back the last 180 days.
The end user of the report i want to give the ability to key in their own start date(including time) and the end date can be manually entered in the same format.
The kicker here is If the date difference between the Start Date parameter and End Date parameter is greater than 14 days (this can be change to 1,2,7,14 days where needed) then the end date needs to be 14 days on from the Start Date Parameter, if its less than 14 days then then the End date parameter stands true and is used.
For example,
Good Scenario
Start Date; 10/05/2024 06:00:00
End Date; 12/05/2024 05:59:59
The End date here would be; 12/05/2024 05:59:59
End Date too large..
Start Date; 10/05/2024 06:00:00
End Date; 30/05/2024 05:59:59
The End date here would be; 24/05/2024 06:00:00
Any pointers here would be great.
Hi @Jmiller_91 ,
Unfortunately, this is by design. Power BI is now unable to achieve what you need. You can submit an idea for it at
here and wait for users with the same needs as you to vote for you to help make it happen as soon as possible.
Best Regards,
Ada Wang
