Create Calculated Column using First and Last date from filtered Date Table

I have a slicer called "Date" that uses the "Year" | "Month Short" columns from a date table called "Date Table".

I then have another table called "Min Staff level".  Is there a way to create 2 calculated columns in this table that would show the "First" and "Last" dates on the "Date Table" when filtered by the slicer?  So as an example, if the slicer was set to "2023 > Jan".  The "First Date" column would show "01/01/2023" for every row and the "Last Date" column would show "31/01/2023" for every column.

I have this working as a measures, but is there a way to to have columns instead?

Measure: (2) First Period Date = CALCULATE(MIN('Table: Dates'[Date]),ALLSELECTED('Table: Dates'[Date]))

Thanks

Hi @StuartSmith ,

Unfortunately calculated columns can't dynamically calculate the maximum or minimum date in the slicer.

Unlike Measures, Calculated Columns are not dynamic – they are only calculated once when the table is first loaded or refreshed, this happens during query time. As a result, calculated columns provide static values.

Just to add, the "Date Table" and "Min Staff Level" tables do not have a relationship.
