Count patients from multiple tables with custom ID

I may have taken the wrong approach but the end goal is to pull patient demographic data from 5 different tables of data which represent programs we offer. I created a Custom ID column in each table that consist of the Patient Last Name and DOB. I then Linked the tables by that field. I need the following:

  1. A measure that adds all clients (TASC-4,585, Lauris-2869, RESET-540, Source 1 - 44, Source 2 - 1) My total should be 8,039 patients.

  1. Next I need to pull the Totals for Race, Sex, Ethnicity, Marital Status & Employment Status from all tables into graphs. (see below for what I seek...samples are using ONLY 1 data table)

I may need a new table as this is not a true star schema situation...

Thanks in advance for your ideas and assistance

Sounds like you might be better off combining/appending the tables in Power Query?
