Count occurencies of value in multiple columns (With Lookup table)

Hello!

 

I nedd some help on a pivot table that counts (or sum) the total number of a customer name in 6 columns.

 

I´m using Power Query connected to a MySQL DataBase.

 

1 Lookup table with all customers without any duplicates

1 Fact table with up to 6 columns that could store the customer name from the column 1 to column 6

 

Should I create a relationship from the lookup table to every column in the fact table?

 

How could I count the total occurencies of the customer, displayed in a pivot table?

Hi Dan,

 

Could you please provide some sample data, doesn't have to be real data, just to get an idea what you need.
