Hi all,
I am trying to calculate how many times a value repeat against another value. For example how many times Amy sedaris apear against Claude
Solved! Go to Solution.
This is a really easy question, which suggests that you have done no Power Bi training.
Please do this FREE training before asking questions on the forum. Thank you.

Try this ....
Create a table visual on your report canvas
Drag Director, Cast and then Cast again to the table visual
Click on 2nd Cast and select Count
Thanks for reaching out for help.
I put in a lot of effort to help you, now please quickly help me by giving kudos.
Remember we are unpaid volunteers and here to coach you with Power BI and DAX skills and techniques, not do the users job for them. So please click the thumbs up and accept as solution button.
If you give someone a fish then you only give them one meal, but if you teach them how to fish then they can feed themselves and teach others for a lifetime. I prefer to teach members on this forum techniques rather give full solutions and do their job. You can then adapt the technique for your solution, learn some DAX skills for next time and soon become a Power BI Super User like me.
One question per ticket please. If you need to extend your request then please raise a new ticket.
You will get a quicker response and each volunteer solver will get the kudos they deserve. Thank you !
Thank you the PBIX and private messaging me

What you sent does not look like a real life question.
Actually it looks like an exam question or job skills test.
In which case you should be doing the training and learning the skills,
rather than asking this forum to give you the right answers.
That would cheating. 😀 😀😀
As a super user, I am happy to provide links to training to help you learm to pass your exam
but I wont cheat and give you the answers. You need to study, learn, pratice and do the exam yourself.
Sorry this is not the answer you want .... but it is the best way to help you.
I am closing this ticket accordingly.

Your screen print with "continents" does not make sense. What is that to do with films?
One question per ticket please. If you need to extend your request then please raise a new ticket.
I will close this question because I answer the count question.
You should not be asking easy question like how to count and get averages on this forum.
Please do this free training.

Novices can also try use the quick measure wizards.
There is no need to ask how to count and calc averages here.
You can get quick answers and learn more by trying yourself 😀😀😀
