Count How Many Occurences are in a Table

I am trying to summarize the total counts so that I could have a statement such as "11 critical vulnerablities in 1 device(s)"

Let's say I have a picture similar to the one below:

counts1.PNG

And I would want to say there are "11 Critical vulnerabilites in 1 device"

Do you think there is a possible way to sum the total number of vulnerabilities in one device or in a certian number of devices?  Such as "20 critical vulnerabilites in 3 devices", etc

  • Anonymous you can create a measure to achieve this

    Label =
    VAR __count Critical =
    CALCULATE(
     COUNTROWS( Table ), Table[Risk] = "Critical" ) )
    VAR __countDevices =
    RETURN CALCULATE( DISTINCTCOUNT( Table[Device] ), Table[Risk] = "Critical" ) RETURN FORMAT( __countCritical, "General Number" ) & " critical vulnerabilities in " & FORMAT( __countDevices, "General Number" ) & " device"

    This is just an idea, you can tweak it they way you want

  • Lets assume you want to do it by devices. I would try

    Device Group  =
    CALCULATE(
    Count('Table'[Risk]),
    GROUPBY('Table', [Device])
    )
