Count DISTINCT values within custom date length, inside date period then add if another occurs

I need to count a distinct amount of values within a specified period (6 months). If the value appears again after 6 months it should be counted again. e.g. if  a date period of 7 months is selected and the value appears in the first 6 months and then again on the 7th month it should be a count of 2 even though it is a distinct count

 

I have tried many ways of trying this to no luck so far. Thanks for any help
