Helper IIISlicer length
Hello,
Is there any way to change the scroll bar in my slicer? I really don't like the way the bar looks (see below). It is a very long list and unfortunately I need to use all the items in it:

Hi b-kopik,
Sure. I was referring to the standard Slicer visual in Power BI.
If you select the slicer, you can change the slicer style from List to Dropdown using the small arrow in the slicer. Once it's a dropdown, you can use the Search option to type and find a value instead of scrolling through the whole list.
For example, with your Salary slicer, you could type 25000 and quickly find that value.
Just to clarify, though, this is more of a workaround for the long list. It doesn't actually change the appearance of the scrollbar itself. Unfortunately, the scrollbar in the native Power BI slicer isn't currently customizable.
If you don't see the Dropdown/Search option, let me know which version of Power BI you're using and I can point you to where it is.

Unfortunately, the scrollbar itself isn't currently customizable in the native Power BI slicer.
Depending on the user experience you're after, you could consider a few alternatives:
• Enable Search in the slicer so users can type a value instead of scrolling through the entire list.
• Switch to a Dropdown slicer, which keeps the page cleaner while still supporting search.
• Try the new Button Slicer if you have a limited number of frequently used values and want more control over the visual appearance.
• If the values can be grouped (for example, salary bands), consider creating categories instead of exposing every individual value in the slicer. This can significantly reduce scrolling.
For very long lists, I usually find that a searchable dropdown provides the best balance between usability and screen space, even though the scrollbar itself cannot be reformatted.
