I have this specfic file that I need to publish to the web. Each time I try to publish it i get this error.
"Sorry, you no longer have premissions required to publish this file. The file will be closed without saving. Please contact your security admins for details."
This file is around 700MB. We upload the file on daily basis it works fine but just today we started having this issue.
Any luck resolving this issue? I'm waiting on Microsoft still. You may be able to just rename the file and upload as a workaround, unless you have built online reports off that data model. That is my main reason for needing the original file access.
So, here it the solution we have found.
The size of the file was 700MB.
MS allows 1GB.
We deleted mulitple "tables' to get the size down.
Finally we were able to "Publish" the file.
@Anonymous
According to your solution, can you check if you have hit the workspace's storage size limitation?

Unfortunately no. We have built reports off of that report therefore we cannot change the name.
One thing we have been able to do is: "Sign in as a different user and then publish the report".
I'm having the exact same problem with just 1 .pbix file out of dozens. I opened a support ticket.
@Anonymous You could check the Issues forum here:
