Hello everyone!
Yesterday I opened my laptop and I found that Power BI wasn't able to sign in to my account due to an SSL/TLS problem. I'm googling but can't find the solution. I alredy tried re installing it and adding this two DWORDS in the Regedit which is a suggested solution I found:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\v4.0.30319] "SchUseStrongCrypto"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\.NETFramework\v4.0.30319] "SchUseStrongCrypto"=dword:00000001
This is how it looks when I open a blank Power BI:

Hi, I solved it reinstalling the desktop app. First I tried reinstalling from the Microsoft Store but it didn't work. After, I downloaded it from PowerBI web page and it worked fine.
Thanks
The very easy solution was to find a machine that PowerBI Desktop worked on (one of my VM Server 2022 did just fine)
Exported keys from registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Cryptography
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL
On non-working machine, deleted the above keys (some parts will not get deleted, no issue)
Imported the working keys from Server, rebooted the workstation and.... it all works again just fine
Nah, re-install alone does not work, so it is NOT a solution!
