Hello,
I need to create "Cost bridge" report, the desired output is this:
Basically I want to explain the increase or decrease of data and display it like this (Please note the picture is illustrative, the numbers don'T add up).
Please note that the underlying metric should be changeble through Field Parameter for example and dynamic enough so the user can choose if he wants to look at certain months.
The look the visual is the most important part, otherwise, I wouldn't write here, because I am not sure if it's even possible to display it in this way with dynamic headers.
Any different suggestions that would explain the increase/decrease in similar way is welcomed.
Thank you

Hello, @v-yueyunzh-msft ,
I basically wanted to recreate the same look as in the picutre in visual. But without hardcoding it's impossible.
What I did is to create some cards that would represent that March2023, March2022 values and then create matrix with my grouping as column.
The end user was fine with this result.
I will close the ticket now.
Hi, @vojtechsima
Based on your description, you want to create a Cost Bridge Matrix, and I don't quite understand your needs.
First based on your expected output, you compared the data for 2022-03 and 2023-03, I don't know how your slicer was chosen and what structure your raw data was.
You also want to dynamically display through field parameters, do you want to modify the dimensions of the display based on slicer selection?
Secondly, if you want to generate a custom column header, then you may create an additional dimension table and use the measure to judge and output different values.
For this requirement of yours, I think it is more difficult and troublesome to implement in Power BI.
If this method does not meet your needs, you can provide us with your special sample data and the desired output sample data in the form of tables, so that we can better help you solve the problem. (You can also upload you sample .pbix [without sensitive data] to the OneDrive and share with the OneDrive link to me ! )
Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!
Best Regards,
Aniya Zhang
