Struggled to find any previous questions on this so I must be doing something obviously wrong...
From a published report, if I Copy an Image (with or without caption), the copied image has a blue backround. In the report it's white. Clearly there is some default colour being applied somewhere, but I am unable to find where.

Appreciate the support. Thanks.
Hi,
I've same issue - visual with blue background and white text after copying is ilegible, because change backgound for white:
Different browser and private mode not working.
Hi @sk877 ,
Seems to be a temporary bug to me since no default background or overlay color is applied normally by Power BI when you copy any visualization as an image.
If you have already tried whatever is suggested in one of the previous replies about browser cache and still nothing is helping, please perform the below:
1. Tell another user/team member to copy the image - This is to check if the issue is user specific
2. Publish to another workspace and check if the issue persists - This is to check if the issue is workspace specific
3. Based on above 2 points, raise a ticket with MS Support so that they can debug

Hi @sk877 ,
Based on my tests, it is not possible to reproduce your issue.
Please try:
1. Change browser.
2. Clear your browser cache.
3. Turn on in privacy mode.
4. Recreate the report on desktop (do not change the background and theme of the visual), republish and copy the image.
Please refer to this document for restrictions on copying images.
Best Regards,

Sadly none of options 1-3 made a difference. This dashboard is very involved and I don't have the time to fully recreate. I'll leave this unresolved for now in case someone else might have any idea. Thank you.
Check out the July 2025 Power BI update to learn about new features.
