Converting a JSON call to table
Hi,
I can call the data i would like into Power Bi via a JSON call and it brings it back as the below:
I then tried selecting converty to table:
but this gives me the below which errors out no matter what options i choose:
I then tried opening the list to the recoprd level and converting to table:
but this also errors out when being converted to a table:
Error:
Expression.Error: We cannot convert a value of type Record to type Text.
Details:
Value=Record
Type=TypeAn example of an open record on my data is:
Can anyone advise on the best way to import data into a table so i can then build a report as normal?

I would recommend not to touch any of the parameters in the UI-dialogue. Just accept the default-values as they are.

That worked. I was trying to force a seperator. Simole solution .... leave it alone!

Hi Mfelix,
Thansk for pointing me in the direction but this is not allowing me to do the steps outlined in your link.
I cannot convert to table as at step one as i get the following prompt:
and no matter what option i choose i get the below error:
I have tried transforming the table / column but this has not worked either?
Can yourself or anyone else advise on a way round this issue?

I would recommend not to touch any of the parameters in the UI-dialogue. Just accept the default-values as they are.
