Hi all,
Currently I am facing an error in Power BI which is as follows:
I get this error whenever I apply a filter on a table. The table does not cause any error in SQL, which is why I am confuzed why this happens and I cannot seem to fix it. The table looks as below data wise:
The DDL is:
Whenever I do not select all values in the filter, the error arises.
I hope someone can guide me into the right direction to fix this issue.
Thanks in advance!

Juul

Hi @Juuls ,
Just for a test try to change the format of that column to a Text format instead of date time and see if still get the error? What I believe can be happening is the local settngs being inconsistent with SQL so instead of having dd/mm/yyyy you arwe getting mm/dd/yyyy (for example) that leads to errors in conversion.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHi all,
Thanks for the replies!
I have checked the format, since I am indeed using direct query, however without success.
Both the SQL data type als the data type in Power BI are set to Date time, but still the error arrises as soon as I filter a value in the table. Are there any other options to troubleshoot this?
Thanks once more for your help.
Best Regards,
Juul
Hi @Juuls , how are you with your issue? Could you solve it? If possible, could you have a look at my current problem? Here you have the link https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Query/Power-Query-Date-Parameter-Binding-to-my-Direc....
Thanks in advance.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHi @Juuls
If the values of font column have some Special characters?
Or if your connection mode is direct query or live connection?
You should ensure that the data types for date and/or time fields are consistent both in your SQL database and Power BI. If there’s any discrepancy, it could lead to conversion errors.

Hi @Juuls ,
What type of data does the field has in Power BI? is it text or you did not define it? Try to force the format of the field in Power Query.
